My name is Gus Menese, a Creative Director, Senior Graphic Designer, and Motion Graphics Designer with 20 years of experience.

My goal is to support advertising agencies and production companies with creative ideas, scripting, motion graphics, advertising, branding, corporate & promotional videos, and e-learning projects.

I develop ideas and turn them into strong visual content, from concept and script to final delivery.
Nerd
Nerd is a conceptual animated short about discovering what we truly are. It follows Gus, a kid who explores reality through science, questioning his identity and the world around him. The film explores the idea that we are all part of the same thing, and that the separation between “you” and “me” may be nothing more than chance. I wrote, designed, illustrated, animated, and sound edited the film. Every frame was digitally painted by hand, resulting in 2,213 individual paintings created over three years. Nerd has received several awards at film festivals around the world.
Click Me!
Click Me! is an animated short film about Mario Ruiz, a man so obsessed with his phone that he has become disconnected from the world around him. One day, his phone literally swallows him, pulling him into a digital world where he is forced to confront a distorted version of himself. I wrote the script, created the animation, and edited the sound for the film. Click Me! is also the starting point for a larger project I am currently developing: a feature-length animated film.
